DeLand, FL - Food and water will be distributed in DeLand beginning at 11 AM on Wednesday as families recover from the effects of Hurricane Irma.

Two semi-trailers of food and water have been delivered from Convoy of Hope Tuesday at First Assembly of DeLand, 551 S. Kepler Road. The city is assisting the operation by providing traffic control.

From 11 AM to 7 PM Wednesday, Volusia County families will be able to receive 1 case of bottled water and 1 case of ready-to-eat meals. Vehicles will be directed through the church parking lot in a drive-thru fashion. Distribution will continue at 11 AM Thursday and Friday or as supplies last.

The food and water will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis and is open to all Volusia County residents.
