Volusia County, FL - Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center has been named one of the nation's top 100 hospitals and it's the only local hospital to make the new list. Truven Health Analytics compiled the new list based on a laundry list of criteria including patient care, operational efficiency and financial stability.
The study has been done each year since 1993. Truven is an industry provider of data driven analytics in the healthcare industry. The winning hospitals were announced in a February 28 edition of Modern Healthcare magazine. Truven evaluated almost 3,000 hospitals for the annual study.
