Orange City, FL – If you are a student in grades 5 through 12 and want to express your love of video through telling life stories and illustrating healthy communities, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial partnered with the Love Your Shorts Film Festival is hosting a student film competition.

The theme is based on the eight principles of CREATION Health, an acronym for Choice, Rest, Environment, Activity, Relationships, Outlook and Nutrition.  It’s a lifestyle transformation program teaching people how to make healthy choices.  All film submissions should be at least 3 minutes long with all key production crew and lead actors as students.

There is no cost to submit a film and deadline is Dec 31 2016.  The top five films will be screened during the “Love Your Shorts” Film Festival February 9-12, 2017, in Sanford, FL.  Each of the top winners will receive $100 in Best Buy gift cards.
