Florida Congressman To Speak At LPGA International Clubhouse In Daytona

Daytona Beach, FL - Florida Congressman Ron DeSantis, a U.S. House Representative from District 6 in Florida, will be coming to speak at the LPGA International Clubhouse in Daytona Beach. The discussion is part of the "August Eggs and Issues" program, hosted by the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce. It will be held on August 10 from 7:30 AM to 9 AM at LPGA International, located at 1000 Champions Dr. DeSantis, whose congressional district stretches from south Jacksonville to New Smyrna Beach, is expected to give a status report on business-related issues that Congress is facing. He will also discuss healthcare, tax reform, the budget, economic development, and other issues important to residents of Volusia County. "Congress is facing several monumental decisions that will impact local job providers, and while Volusia County's economy is growing, we are still grappling with an extensive homeless problem and a lack of affordable housing," says Len Marinaccio, Vice Chair of Government Relations for the Chamber and owner of Bomar Construction in Ormond Beach. At the "August Eggs and Issues" program, the Chamber will present DeSantis with the U.S. Chamber's Spirit of Enterprise award for his support of pro-economic growth legislation during the second session of the 114th Congress.
