Flagler Urges Eligible Irma Victims To Complete Phone Interview For D-SNAP

Flagler County, FL – Flagler County officials are urging hurricane victims registered for Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP) to complete a phone interview if they were unable to visit a Food for Florida site.

According to Flagler County, you may be able eligible for benefits by phone interview if you already pre-registered for D-SNAP by November 9, are the head of household and 60 years of age or disabled, and have valid identification. Only those who qualify will be able to complete a phone interview.

All pieces of identification will be verified during the phone call. You are advised to have your Florida drivers license/ID and social security numbers ready. You will be asked questions to ensure your identity.

If you meet the criteria and your last name begins with letter A through L, you are urged to call 855-278-7136 on Saturday, December 2. Last names beginning with M through Z are urged to call 855-278-7136 on Sunday, December 3.

If you do not qualify for DNAP, you may complete an application for regular assistance at www.myflorida.com/accessflorida/.
