Flagler County's Upcoming 100th Birthday Celebration To Feature Photo Contest

Posted

Flagler Beach, FL - Flagler County is celebrating its 100th birthday, and part of the celebration is a photo contest open to photographers of all levels.

The Centennial Committee is inviting amateur photographers to capture what Flagler County means to them. Photographers from the age of 14 and up can participate in the contest. Photos will be judged by age group on quality, creativity, story-telling, etc.

"With everyone using high-resolution cell phone cameras in addition to the amateur photographers in our community, we should end up with some really great entries to show as part of the Centennial Celebration," Centennial Chairman Carl Laundrie said.

The deadline for submission is Monday, April 10.

The Centennial Celebration will take place on April 29, from 9 AM to 3 PM at the Flagler County Government Services Building, 1769 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell.

There will also be different activities throughout the event like a car show, a crafts and kids zone, and a fun run/walk for all ages.
