Flagler County Sheriff's Office Aids In Arrest Of Two Florida Fugitives

Palm Coast, FL – Two Florida fugitives have been arrested after the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) helped federal authorities locate their whereabouts. St. Johns County had several active arrest warrants out for William Tobias-Elliott Tinsley and Jocelyn McLaughlin. On Friday, the FCSO was able to arrest Tinsley and McLaughlin at 11 Raintree Lane in Palm Coast. Tinsley, 31, had two active warrants for the sale of oxycodone and trafficking in a controlled substance. Upon his arrest, he was also charged with possession of methadone. His bond totaled $160,000. McLaughlin, 21, had an active warrant for child neglect. Her bond totaled $5,000. Both fugitives were first booked into the Flagler County Detention Center before they were transferred back to St. Johns County.

“We were called to assist to get these fugitives off the street,” said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. “Opiates are a plague to our country and we will continue to hunt down those who peddle this poison in our community. These two thought Flagler County would be a good place to hide out, but they were wrong.
