Flagler Beach, FL - A Flagler Beach man, who had just under two pounds of marijuana stashed inside his vehicle and his apartment, was arrested on Wednesday. Twenty-nine-year old Tylor Upson was observed by police as they were conducting a surveillance operation at an apartment complex on Village Dr. in Flagler Beach. The complex had received multiple complaints about potential drug deals. During the operation, police noticed Upson leaving his apartment and concealing items underneath his shirt and putting those items in the engine compartment of his vehicle. Upson then drove off. After Upson left the apartment complex, police conducted a traffic stop, where they found approximately 168 grams of marijuana hidden inside the air box of his vehicle's engine compartment. Upson was arrested for possession of marijuana over 20 grams and taken to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility. After the arrest, police obtained a search warrant and found 670 grams of marijuana inside Upson's apartment, along with a .38 Special Smith and Wesson revolver. The amount of marijuana found in Upson's vehicle and apartment combined totaled just under two pounds. That's approximately $6,000 in street value. Upson has since been released from custody and is awaiting trial, according to jail records.
