The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) has provided the permits for the replacement of the Dune Walkovers. Those permits are currently being reviewed. The aforementioned dates are tentative and subject to change. If dates do change, the City of Flagler Beach will release an updated Public Service Announcement.

“As a City, the replacement of Dune Walkovers that were destroyed by Hurricanes Matthew and Irma has been a priority and a lot of hard work has been put in to make this a reality,” said Larry Newsome, City Manager. “I’m proud of the work that’s been done so far and we’re looking forward to these five (5) Dune Walkovers being replaced and re-opened to the public in mid-June."
