Fight Breaks Out At Palm Coast Girl Scout Cookie Stand Over $20 Debt

Palm Coast, FL – Things got violent at a Girl Scout cookie stand in Palm Coast on Saturday over a $20 debt – an incident that was captured on surveillance video for the most part.

According to witnesses, Erin Kennedy and her sons, Daniel Kennedy, 18, and his 16-year-old brother, approached the stand and demanded $20 they said they were owed. Lisa Ketchum, 47, who was at the cookie stand, said she couldn’t give the money to the Kennedy’s because it wasn’t Girl Scout business, so the family asked to be paid in cookies instead… that’s when things got violent.

Daniel and his brother destroyed the cookie stand, attacked Thomas Ketchum (Lisa’s husband who had open heart surgery just days prior), and injured the Ketchum’s 15-year-old son. The Kennedy boys were both arrested and are facing charges.
