The career fair will be held at the FHP headquarters, which is the FHP Orlando station at 133 S Semoran Blvd, Orlando, FL 32807. The event will run from 7 PM to 9 PM. FHP's looking for troopers and dispatchers.

"We need the help," said Sergeant Kim Montes, Public Affairs Officer with FHP. "We actually have our own academey up in Talahassee where we'll pay you to go learn how to be a police officer. And then you're guaranteed a job once you complete that academy."

Montes said salaries for dispatchers start at $26,000 a year and $33,000 a year for troopers. And according to her, there are some great benefits for those who work for FHP. "It's a great retirement system, you get a patrol car to take to your house every night so you don't have to have your own car to drive to and from work, the benefits, the comradery... If you want to serve your community this is a great way to do it. And we're looking for good men and women."
