Palm Coast, FL - Update: The Jeep that fled the scene of the Monday morning crash that killed a 68-year-old Flagler County Schools bus driver has been located.
According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the 2010 Jeep Wrangler involved in the fatal I-95 crash in Palm Coast has been found, however, the identity of the driver is still under investigation.

A 68-year-old Flagler County Schools bus driver was killed following a car crash in Palm Coast on Monday morning, and The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is looking for a driver who fled the scene of the crash.
FHP says that 68-year-old Raymond Almodovar, of Ormond Beach, was driving a 2004 Toyota Corolla northbound on I-95 near SR-100 at around 5:45 AM on Monday morning. Almodovar veered off the roadway, hit a guard-rail, spun back into the northbound lanes, and was sideswiped by a 2010 Kia Forte.
The driver of the Kia, 49-year-old, John Patrick Manuel, of Port Orange, was able to pull over to the side of the road, FHP says. The Toyota stopped across the northbound lanes of I-95, and a Jeep Wrangler struck the Toyota. The driver of the Jeep exited his vehicle, returned inside the Jeep, and fled the scene.
Following the incident, Almodovar was pronounced dead by the Medical Examiner's Office. Flagler County Schools' Community Information Department has confirmed that Almodovar was employed as a bus driver for the school system since July of 2013. It is unknown at this time if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
FHP is asking for any information regarding the driver of the Jeep Wrangler who fled the scene of the crash. The Jeep is described as possibly a 2007 to 2017 Wrangler with significant front-end damage.
