FHP: 5 Occupants Flee From Pickup Truck That Flipped On I-95 In Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach, FL - The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after the five occupants of a pickup truck that flipped on I-95 in Daytona Beach on Thursday night fled the scene.

According to FHP, the single vehicle crash happened at around 7 PM on Nov. 30. A 2001 Ford Pickup truck entered I-95 from US-92 and lost control. The pickup truck then flipped, spilling tools, equipment, and roofing supplies, including nails onto the highway. The five men who were in the pickup truck then fled the scene of the crash on foot. They still haven't been found.

Officials say no other vehicles were damaged by the debris.

The crash is still under investigation and charges are pending.
