FDOT Warns Drivers Of New Traffic Pattern Near I-4, I-95 & U.S. 92 In Daytona Beach

Posted

Daytona Beach, FL - Motorists planning on driving on I-4, I-95, or U.S. 92 in the Daytona Beach area are warned about a new traffic pattern beginning this weekend.

On Sunday, March 4, traffic on northbound I-95 will be detoured to a new I-95 bridge at the U.S. 92 interchange. The change will help accommodate crews working on building other I-95 northbound bridges. The detour will begin at 10 PM on Sunday and will last through 6 AM on Monday. Monday, March 5, is a backup date for this project.

There will be electronic message boards and other signage posted. The detours will affect:

  • I-95 northbound traffic
  • I-95 northbound ramp to I-4 westbound (Exit 260B)
  • U.S. 92 eastbound and westbound ramps to I-95 northbound

If you plan on driving northbound on I-95 to reach S.R. 400 (Beville Road) eastbound, I-4 westbound, or U.S. 92 on Monday or soon thereafter, you will exit onto a new collector-distributor road to reach your desired exit.

This detour schedule may change as weather or other conditions change. Construction updates can be found on FDOT’s Central Florida website.
