FDOT Warns Daytona Drivers Of Upcoming Night Detours Around I-4, I-95 & U.S. 92

Daytona Beach, FL – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is warning drivers in the Daytona Beach area of several upcoming late-night detours around  I-4, I-95 and U.S. 92.

Between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM on December 5, 6 and 7, several detours will be in place to accommodate deck pouring for the new U.S. 92 bridges. The detours will be marked, and drivers are urged to slow down and pay attention.

U.S. 92 Westbound Detour On December 5, 6 and 7:

  • The Westbound U.S. 92 detour will start at Williamson Blvd. south. The detour will follow west Bellevue Ave. to north Tomoka Farms Rd. From there, U.S. 92 can be accessed from both directions.
  • Northbound I-95 drivers looking to travel westbound on U.S. 92 via exit 261 will follow the same detour.
  • U.S. 92 westbound to the I-95 northbound on-ramp will not be affected by the detours. The I-95 southbound off-ramp to U.S. 92 westbound via Exit 261B will also not be affected.

I-95 Southbound Off-Ramp to I-4/Beville Rd. Eastbound Detour On December 5:

  • Drivers should take exit 261A for eastbound U.S. 92 eastbound to Williamson Blvd. south to Beville Rd.
  • Drivers who miss exit 261A should continue to exit 256 to take west Dunlawton Ave./Taylor Rd. to north Williamson Blvd. to Beville Rd.

I-4/Beville Rd. Eastbound Off-Ramp to I-95 Northbound Detour On December 5, 6 and 7:

  • Drivers should take Beville Rd. to north Williamson Blvd. to west U.S. 92 for I-95 north access.
