Volusia County, FL - Two public meetings regarding the St. Johns River to Sea Loop Study have been scheduled by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
On Wednesday, January 10, and Thursday, January 11, the Public Kick-Off Meetings for the St. Johns River to Sea (SJR2C) Loop PD&E Study will convene in New Smyrna Beach and South Daytona. The same information will be covered in both meetings, which are open house-style with no formal presentation.
The dates, times, and locations are as follows:
FDOT will present proposed trail alternatives for U.S. 1 for the 12.5 mile stretch between SR 44 (Lytle Avenue) and Beville Road. Residents wishing to express their views on the social, economic and environmental impact of the proposed project are welcome. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the study with FDOT staff during the meetings.
