FDOT To Discuss Proposed Roundabout At U.S. 1 & Old Dixie Highway

Flagler County, FL - A public hearing regarding the proposed roundabout at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Old Dixie Highway in Flagler County is scheduled for mid-January.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites the public to attend the roundabout design hearing at 5:30 PM on January 18. An open house, formal presentation, and hearing will take place at the Community Baptist Church located at 956 Old Dixie Highway in Bunnell.

The open house and hearing begin at 5:30 PM, and the presentation begins at 6 PM. Public comments will follow the presentation.

“Our Board of County Commissioners, as well as our citizens, have expressed a lot of questions

and concerns about this proposed project,” said Craig Coffey, Flagler County Administrator. “We

wanted to help get the word out about this public hearing because of the level of interest

throughout the county.”

Written statements or exhibits may be submitted at the hearing, otherwise, they need to be postmarked by January 29 in order to be added to the public hearing record.
