Ormond Beach, FL - The Florida Department of Transportation is holding a public feedback opportunity to discuss resurfacing US-1.

According to FDOT, the resurfacing will start at Woodland Avenue in Ormond Beach, just a couple of streets north of Granada Boulevard, and go all the way to the Flagler County Line.

They say that in addition to resurfacing the roadway, the project will also include many different safety improvements such as filling in sidewalk gaps and correcting guardrail deficiencies and lane extensions.

The hearing will begin tomorrow (December 11th) at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center on North 399 US-1. It starts at 5:30 as an informal open house where displays and other project information will be available for review.

A presentation is also scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., followed by public comment.
