FDOT District 5 Traffic Incident Management Conference Set For May

Volusia County, FL – The Florida Department of Transportation District 5 Traffic Incident Management Regional Conference is set to take place in May. Registration is open now.

The conference is set for May, 16, (tentatively from 9 AM to 4 PM), at the Volusia County Emergency Operations Center, 3825 Tiger Bay Road, Ste. 102, Daytona Beach.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from local and out-of-state speakers. There will be live demonstrations. Registration is free for Emergency Responders.

Tentative speakers and topics include: Protect the Queue – Duane Manning, Tennessee DOT; Responder Safety: The Bigger Picture – Glenn Victor, United Safety Council; Innovations in Roadway Safety; Emergency Responder Communications; Smart Roads; Emergency Access with Express Lane Barrier Walls; Engaging the Public
