FCSO: Witnesses Threatened In Homicide Investigation

Posted

Palm Coast, FL - The Flagler County Sheriff's Office is trying to speak with witnesses in reference to an ongoing homicide investigation, but they're getting reports that those witnesses are being threatened to keep from talking to authorities.

According to FCSO, those instances of threats of retaliation against witnesses will be investigated and anyone engaged in those threats could face charges.

No specific examples were given but authorities did mention written threats to kill and witness tampering.

These witnesses are a part of FCSO's ongoing investigation involving the shooting death of 18-year-old Curtis Gray, in which 17-year-old Marion Gavins Jr. has been arrested for.

In that same case, FCSO is still trying to speak with 18-year-old Teresa Selgado AKA "Alex," who is not considered a suspect but a person of interest in this case.

FCSO says that anyone with information on the case or anyone who feels they're being threatened or that someone is attempting to influence their testimony should call them at (386) 313-4911.
