Bunnell, FL - Update: The suspect accused of stealing several trailers in Bunnell has been arrested. Kelly Ryan Campanella, 26, was arrested on Friday night and charged with four counts of grand theft over $300.00. Surveillance video shows Campanella leaving a Palm Coast storage facility with a trailer that was later reported as stolen. An investigation conducted by the Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) revealed that Campanella was behind several trailer thefts in the County. Campanella has been released from the Flagler County Detention Facility on a $10,000 bond. Earlier Reporting: Seven stolen trailers have been recovered in Bunnell by Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO), and charges are pending for at least one suspect. The trailers were recovered Thursday morning on Mahogany Blvd. in Bunnell as the FCSO special investigation unit and tactical team executed a search warrant after reports of a rash of stolen trailers. The suspect in the thefts cooperated with detectives and identified the property where the stolen trailers were being held. Five of the stolen trailers were returned to the owners, and the other two will be returned as soon as the owners can be contacted. While charges are still pending for the one suspect, FCSO says there may be additional suspects, and no names have been released yet. "This was good investigative work on the part of our detectives and patrol deputies," says Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. "I'm glad we were able to return the property to the rightful owners. This is still an active investigation." Above photos courtesy FCSO. Copyright Southern Stone Communications 2017.
