FCSO: Road Deputies In Festive Green For St. Patty's Day, 1 As Leprechaun

Flagler County, FL - To show their sense of humor, Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) road deputies will be dressed in green for St. Patrick's Day while they watch for speeders.

Motorists should be aware that deputies will be out in force at 2 PM at Palm Coast Parkway and I-95 and at 4 pm at S.R. 100 and Colbert Lane, including 1 deputy dressed as a leprechaun.

"Beware of the leprechaun," said Sheriff Rick Staly. "Don't let him take your pot of gold. Once you see him, it will be too late."

While taking a lighthearted approach by dressing in festive green Friday, the Sheriff's Office takes speeding very seriously and encourages everyone to pay attention and obey the law, the FCSO said.

"Our traffic efforts include enforcement, education and awareness," said Sheriff Staly.
