Flagler County, FL – FCSO is investigating a shooting that took place on Thursday night near Bayberry Village Road and Old Dixie Highway.

The 20-year-old victim was released from Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach on Friday after receiving treatment for a gunshot wound.

The young man’s mother called the incident in around 7:04 PM and took her son to Florida Hospital Flagler.

The victim claims he was shot by a black male who’s about 6 feet tall with a slim build and short hair. The shooter was in a vehicle described as a black four-door sedan with white on the sides. Investigators think the incident could be drug-related.
