Flagler County, FL - The Flagler County Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Unit and SWAT team executed a search warrant and arrested a local drug dealer.

Cyrus Terrell Brown, 27, 30 Emerson Drive, Palm Coast, was arrested early Thursday morning, March 2.

According to the FCSO, law enforcement entered the residence and secured several people, including Brown, who led officers to a shed at the rear of the residence. In the shed, officers found a blue cooler with items used for packaging and distribution of marijuana, a baggie and several mason jars which held more than a pound of marijuana. They also found a red cooler that contained just over 11 grams of cocaine.

Inside the residence, officers found several scales, a grinder and a locked safe. The safe contained a 9mm Glock handgun and 2 additional magazines that had been reported stolen from a resident in the "R" section.

"Our Special Investigations Unit did a phenomenal job and worked quickly to shut down this operation and get the defendant behind bars," said Sheriff Rick Staly. "It is my intention to go after anyone selling drugs in our community and also put them in jail where they belong. There are still vacancies at the Green Roof Inn."

Brown has been charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana over 20 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Additional charges are pending.

Brown was transported without incident to the Flagler County Detention Center, where he was held and later released on $5,500 bond.
