Palm Coast, FL- Five male Jacksonville teens are charged with grand theft auto for a white Ram truck stolen in St. Johns County and found abandoned in Palm Coast. They were arrested after residents in the “B” section on Bronson Lane started calling about car break-ins around 3:50 A.M. The truck had first been reported by a woman around 11:20 P.M. Friday night. She said she watched a person “rummaging” through her vehicle on Lakeside Place and then left in the truck. A deputy located the truck but lost the vehicle when its lights were turned off.  Deputies found it abandoned a short time later on Bronson Lane. The keys to the truck were in one of the suspect’s pockets. They are identified as 17-year-old Darian Sessions, 14-year-old Antwan Butler, 19-year-old Jordan Vital, 15-year-old Zydale Smith and 15-year-old Marious Green. Additional charges are expected as an investigation continues into 23 burglaries in the Indian Trails area. Vital was also charged with resisting arrest without violence and loitering and prowling. The property recovered as a result of the investigation included a handgun that was reported stolen from Volusia County. All of the vehicles burglarized were unlocked. Deputies are urging anyone living in these areas to check their vehicles to see if they may have been burglarized. If so, they are asked to call the FCSO at (386) 313-4911.
