UPDATE (06-26-18): Posella has been found safe in the South Florida area, according to Kershaw.

"Samantha went to a local police station in South Florida on Tuesday to notify authorities that she was reported missing in October of 2017 but investigators have determined she was living in South Florida using an alias," Kershaw added. "Samantha is now an adult and is not required to return to her parents’ residence in Palm Coast."

Palm Coast, FL - The Flagler County Sheriff's Office wants your help again to track down a teenage girl who's been missing for nearly a year.

18-year-old Samantha L. Posella hasn't been seen since leaving her father's home on Llama Trail last October 25th. It was after the calendar turned to November when FCSO reported her missing via social media.

Detectives fear she may have been the victim of some kind of crime, according to Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly.

"We need to know the truth about Samantha’s whereabouts and we need the cooperation of those who last saw her or any friends that may know something," Staly added. "Please come forward with information to help us find her."

FCSO spokesperson Brittany Kershaw says detectives have questioned a woman - Kindra Dixon - who admitted to driving Posella to work on the day she disappeared, telling them that she saw her last walking to her home that night from a home on Llach Court.

"Kindra has since provided several inconsistent statements to law enforcement," Kershaw added.

Dixon and her boyfriend - Roy Edward Casey III - are now persons of interest in Posella's disappearance, according to FCSO.

A missing persons report filed by Posella's father shows him telling deputies his daughter had been "acting out" in the weeks prior to her disappearance and that she did not own a vehicle or a cell phone.

Posella is 5'8 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds, with short brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and a gray/pink hoodie.

FCSO is asking anyone with information to call 386-313-4911 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-8477 to remain anonymous and possibly qualify for a cash reward.
