Flagler County, FL - A 49-year-old Bunnell man has been arrested after the Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) learned of his two wives. On Thursday morning, deputies arrested Paul Wayne Stout for bigamy. In 1996, Stout married his first wife from Indianapolis. The first wife recently notified the FCSO that she learned through Facebook that Stout had married another woman from Flagler County in June of 2013. She told deputies that she wanted to press charges against Stout. An investigation uncovered that Stout and his first wife separated in 2005 but were never officially divorced before Stout married his second wife. An interview with the second wife revealed she had no idea Stout was already legally married. She has told the FCSO that she also wants to press charges. “This isn’t a crime often committed today,” said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. “This guy obviously has a silver tongue and betrayed two unsuspecting women. I hope this arrest gives some sense of relief to the betrayed wives.” According to the FCSO, Stout has also been a registered sex offender since 2015 after he was found in possession of child pornography. Stout is under community monitoring by the the Florida Department of Corrections. He is now being held at the Flagler County Detention Facility on a $1,500 bond.
