On Wednesday, Dawson was driving around looking for the man who robbed him, and he found a man who matched the description at a local gas station. Dawson confronted the man, but the suspect fled. Deputies were later able to track down the suspect, 26-year-old Cody Wilson, Wednesday night at a tent in the woods on North Oceanshore Blvd., where Wilson lived with his girlfriend. FCSO says detectives searched the tent and surrounding area. They found 9mm rounds in a box and a glass pipe matching the description of the one that was stolen. Detectives also found a brown canvas satchel with a 9mm semiautomatic firearm with a round in the chamber. Wilson has a prior felony conviction out of Mississippi, and he was arrested on Wednesday for robbery with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Wilson was held at the Flagler County Detention Facility without bond.(Wilson's mugshot courtesy FCSO)
