St. Augustine, FL - A DNA expert confirmed Tuesday that blood found in the home of the Deltona man accused of killing his wife and her two children belonged to one of the children. 35-year-old Luis Toledo, of Deltona, was accused in 2013 of killing 28-year-old Yessenia Suarez and her children, Thalia Otto, 9, and Michael Otto, 8, who went missing from their Deltona home in October of 2013. Their bodies have never been found, but now an expert says that DNA evidence belonged to Thalia Otto. DNA expert Anthony Gorgone from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement testified during the fifth day of the trial that there was blood in Toledo's closet and master bathroom which was a match for the girl. Investigators also found matching blood on boots and a car trunk liner that were thrown in a dumpster. For more on this story head to WFTV.com. Copyright Southern Stone Communications 2017.
