Daytona Beach, FL- Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has been selected as one of the “Great Colleges to Work For” by The Chronicle of Higher Education. Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Brandon Young said this is the sixth year in a row that ERAU has earned that title.

Staff and faculty from 281 institutions participated in a survey that drew 46,000 responses. Young said the reasons to want to work at ERAU are many, which includes a commitment to the mission, great benefits, competitive salaries and a wonderful work-life balance.

The categories in which Embry-Riddle was among only 10 universities equivalent to its size for Honor Roll status are: Compensation & Benefits, Respect & Appreciation and Work/Life Balance.

Young said the students benefit from the faculty's commitment. Basically, when the staff is happy with their work, it spreads into a more productive output for the students.

The Chronicle of Higher Education covers all aspects of colleges and universities and is the book to go to for academia. The Chronicle worked with ModernThink LLC to administer the survey and analyze the results.

Young also mentioned that there are open positions at ERAU.
