Holly Hill, FL-A Holly Hill couple are shaken up but otherwise ok after they were victims of a home invasion Tuesday afternoon just afer 12:30 PM.
Police say the woman answered a knock at the door of their Powers Avenue home and two suspects pushed their way inside. The black male and white female suspects ordered the couple onto the floor and demanded cash and valuables. The couple told them they didn't have anything to hand over. The suspects rummaged through a couple of rooms and found nothing. At one point, even going through the woman's purse. They left in a gray colored 4-door Nissan vehicle.
At one point police say the male victim was able to go outside and yell for help.
The suspects then left in a gray colored 4-door Nissan vehicle.
Police Chief Steve Aldrich says the nature of this kind of random crime makes it hard to investigate and any information from the public would help.
The suspects are described as a black male, about 6’foot, slender build, thin mustache and wearing a gray hoodie. He was probably between 24 and 30 years old. The female is white, about 5’6” tall, wide build, blonde hair, wearing a green jacket and khaki capris. She is also estimated to be between 24 and 30 years old.
