Deputy Interviews With Deltona Man Accused Of Triple Murder Shown To Jury

Posted

St. Augustine, FL – On Thursday, jurors watched recorded deputy interviews with the Deltona man accused of killing his wife and her two children in 2013.

Luis Toledo is on trial after being accused of murdering Yessenia Suarez and her two children, Michael and Thalia Otto, ages 8 and 9. Their bodies have not yet been found.

On Thursday, the jury saw recordings of Toledo explaining to deputies his rocky relationship with Suarez. Toledo says he confronted Suarez at work about an affair after tracking her phone and reading her texts and became angry when the affair was denied.

The night before Suarez disappeared, Toledo said he left the house and drove to a cemetery where his parents are buried. He went home but slept in his car, and upon entering the home the next morning, he said Suarez and the kids were gone.
