Deltona To Host Meeting To Identify Assistance Resources For Hurricane Victims

Deltona, FL— The City of Deltona has invited more than one hundred organizations and businesses to meet and discuss local resources to assist residents from Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Those same resources will be available to provide assistance to Deltona residents impacted by future disasters. The

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 24th at City Hall in the Commission Chambers, from 6:30 pm until 8:30pm. The list of invitees includes local and area churches, civic groups, non-profit organizations, local hospitals, area schools, the Florida Dept. of Health, Volusia County, Volusia COAD(Community Organizations Active in Disaster) and the United Way. The public is welcome to attend and listen to the possible ideas

from the various organizations, regarding methods to assist our residents and those displaced by the two hurricanes.
