Deltona Man Wins Top Prize In FL Lottery Scratch-Off Game, Rakes in $500K

Deltona, FL – A 34-year-old Deltona man has claimed the top prize in the Florida Lottery’s GOLD RUSH Scratch-Off game, raking in $500,000.

Solomon Graham bought his winning ticket from the 7-Eleven at 839 Debary Ave in Deltona.

The %$5 Scratch-Off game launched back in January of 2015, and it offers over 7.5 million prizes ranging from $5 to $10,000, with top prizes coming in at half a million. The odds of winning the game are 1 in 4.23.

Scratch-Off games make up about 65% of Florida Lottery ticket sales and in the 2015-2016 fiscal year, they generated over $734 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
