Deltona, FL - A Deltona man is held on $140,000 bond at Volusia County Jail after deputies charged him with possession of child pornography.
24-year-old Steven A. Montalvo was arrested yesterday (March 5th) at his home on Pyramid Avenue by the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, a month after authorities raided his home and took electronic devices from inside as part of an investigation which started in December 2018.
VCSO spokesperson Laura Williams says Montalvo had at least 14 photos and videos of children in sexually explicit situations.
"The images portrayed male and female children under a year to 11 years old," Williams added.
Investigators with VCSO’s Child Exploitation Unit also interviewed Montalvo soon after the February 7th raid, per Williams.
VCSO hasn't released any other information at this time. This article will be updated once that's the case.
