St. Augustine, FL - The Deltona man accused of killing his wife and her two kids told investigators he "karate chopped" his wife in the throat, and a witness says the man's home had specks of blood in the master bedroom. Witness testimony continued Friday during the third day of the trial of Luis Toledo, accused of the triple murder in 2013. Toledo confessed to killing his wife, but not the children. Toledo faces the death penalty if convicted of killing the children, although none of the three bodies have been found. Toledo admitted he "karate chopped" his wife in the throat during an argument over an affair she was having with a co-worker. The primary crime scene investigator, Josh Mott, also testified that he found traces of blood on the walls of Toledo's home, but he admitted there was no way to tell how long the blood had been there.
