Deltona City Manager Being Investigated For Voter Fraud

Deltona, FL - A city manager in Volusia County is under investigation by the state for alleged voter fraud.

During his appearance on the Marc Bernier show, R.J. Larizza, the 7th Circuit State Attorney of Florida, says that after labeling Deltona City Hall as her address, City Manager Jane Shang now faces an investigation spearheaded by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

According to a letter from Deputy General Counsel Ashley Davis to Larizza, an anonymous source made an allegation on paper against Shang saying "Jane has City Hall residential address."

It also contained screenshots from two websites, one being www.voterfocus.com and www.voterecords.com, both showing that Shang's registered mailing address was 2345 Providence Boulevard in Deltona, the address of City Hall.

Davis then confirmed that Shang was previously registered at City Hall  from 2015 to 2018, when she changed her address.

Records show that Shang voted in the primary and general election in 2016 and 2018 using the City Hall address.

According to Larizza, Shang mislabeling her address could be considered a 3rd degree felony in the state of Florida. Therefore, the FDLE will investigate Shang and determine if using City Hall was willfully done by her or not.

If determined to be a willful action, FDLE will then collaborate with Larizza's office where they will end up taking over. Larizza said that's when they will determine, based on the facts presented and Florida law, if Shang's action was a crime or not, which might depend on Shang's record.

"Let's say it was a DUI," Larizza said to Marc Bernier. "If they have five prior DUI's we're probably going to have a different disposition than someone who has never been in trouble before."
