Deland Vehicle Break-ins In One Area

Deland, FL- The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is reporting several vehicle break-ins within a mile or so in any direction of the intersection of New York Avenue and Woodland Boulevard in Deland.

The three vehicles that were broken into are in the 1100 block of Wild Oak Terrace, the 1100 block of Cass Street and the 600 block of Montgomery Street. Items stolen include a Coach purse and wallet, two pairs of sunglasses, a backpack and a checkbook and a Dell laptop computer.

One of the vehicles had a shattered window. Sheriff’s deputies advise people not to leave valuables in their vehicles and to make sure they are locked.
