DeLand, FL - DeLand residents now have a chance to offer their input to the city regarding an upcoming sales tax election.

The City of DeLand has announced they're hosting a series of meetings and informational sessions for residents regarding the upcoming half-cent sales tax ballot measure.

At those meetings, city officials will provide a list of projects that could improve local roadways, stormwater management, pedestrian access to schools, water quality and reduce flooding.

City officials will also seek the public's input on what projects are important to them and will answer questions regarding the ballot proposal.
