DeLand Police: Man's Body Found Outside Building

DeLand, FL - Police are actively investigating after a man was found dead on East New York Avenue this morning (January 16th). The body was found outside a building near Garfield Avenue, according to a Twitter post from the DeLand Police Department.

Detectives say the death doesn't appear suspicious at this point but it's still early in the investigation. Traffic is being re-routed at Garfield and Fairview avenues in the meantime. This article will be updated once more information comes in.
