DeLand, FL – Florida Hospital DeLand just received $22,500 in donations from DeLand Kia to help treat and support cancer patients.
On November 6, DeLand Kia presented the hospital with the donation collected during the month of October. The dealership donated $100 for every car sold in October in honor of national breast cancer awareness month.
“Once again, the continued generosity and support received by our friends at DeLand Kia will save lives. We are so grateful,” said Florida Hospital DeLand Foundation executive director, Maureen Mercho. “The funds donated will provide much needed services for patients facing a cancer diagnosis.”
DeLand Kia has raised over $100,000 in the last 5 years for the Florida Hospital DeLand Foundation. The money helps the hospital provide treatment programs and support to its patients.
