DeLand, FL-DeLand Police are reporting that a 3-year-old girl that nearly drowned on Tuesday has been transferred to an Orlando-area hospital. Emergency responders were called to the Taylor Place Apartments at 4:40 P.M. for a possible drowning.

The police report states that when responders arrived, the little girl was being given CPR by a woman. Video footage from the pool area shows the child’s mother sitting poolside with an unidentified man. The officer responding to the scene said a tree blocked his view of whether the child jumped or fell in the pool.

Investigators are still putting the details together to determine what happened. The little girl’s condition is not known at this time.
