Deland Christmas Parade

DeLand, FL-The operations of the DeLand Christmas Parade is being taken over by all three of the city’s Rotary Clubs. Chris Graham from the city of DeLand said the Rotary Club of DeLand, the DeLand Breakfast Rotary and Rotary Club of Downtown DeLand have agreed to share the responsibilities of organizing the parade for at least one year.

Graham said that last month, the DeLand Jaycees, who have overseen the parade for most of its 67 years, would no longer be able to do so.

The annual Christmas Parade in DeLand will continue with the city’s Rotary Clubs taking over operations of the event.
