Daytona Beach, FL - A man who was killed in an accident was found to be the at fault driver by police.

Daytona Beach police say that the crash was reported around 7 a.m. yesterday (April 8th) at the intersection of South Clyde Morris and Big Tree Road.

According to DBPD, 78-year-old Richard Croce was traveling Southbound on Clyde Morris when he attempted to make a left turn onto Big Tree.

As he made his turn, a pickup truck that was traveling north on Clyde collided with his vehicle in the intersection.

Croce's vehicle then made impact with another vehicle that was stopped at a red light facing west on Big Tree, before it made impact with a concrete utility pole on the northeast corner of the intersection.

He was pronounced dead on the scene by investigators.

Daytona Beach police say Croce was found to be at fault in the crash, and was not wearing a seat belt. No charges are pending against the truck driver.
