Daytona Beach, FL – The Daytona Beach Police Department (DBPD) is searching for four individuals who they say stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from the Tommy Hilfiger store at Tanger Outlets.

At around 4 PM on Friday, May 4, two black females and two black males entered the store, approached the front clothing display, and removed several items from the table. The individuals grabbed armfuls of clothing items and ran from the store, heading eastbound through the mall.

A witness described the individuals as two black females wearing jeans and a t-shirt, a black male wearing jeans and a polo, and a black male wearing jeans and a red t-shirt. The witness claimed one of the females yelled: “haha we got you.”

The witness told investigators that she did not see the suspects get into a vehicle, but a bystander witness took a picture of the license plate of the car that they say the suspects got into.

The suspects stole 187 items, including 82 polo shirts (valued at $41.99 each) and 101 belt shorts (valued at $38.99 each). All the items are valued at $7,549.13, however, the suspects dropped four polo shirts as they were fleeing the store. The total of the items that were not recovered is $7,381.14. According to DPBD reports, an official representing the store said that she wished to press charges.
