Posted

Daytona Beach, FL - Daytona Beach Police Department is telling drivers to be aware of some upcoming lane shifts at Atlantic Ave. (A1A) and Ora St. in Daytona Beach.

The lane shifts are being implemented so that The City of Daytona Beach and Yates Construction can complete a concrete project at Oakridge Blvd. and Atlantic Ave. The shifts will last two nights, from Sunday, August 27 at 12 AM until Monday, August 28 at 4 AM.

At the intersection of Atlantic Ave. And Ora St., northbound traffic flow will shift into a single southbound lane of Atlantic Ave., and traffic will continue northbound in a single southbound lane to Oakridge Blvd. Drivers will then make a lane shift at the intersection of Atlantic Ave. and Oakridge Blvd. into normal northbound traffic lanes.
