DBPD Looking For Person Of Interest In Recent Shooting

Daytona Beach, FL – Police in Daytona Beach are looking for the man they think was involved in a recent shooting.

22-year-old Shawn M. Adams is a person of interest in a January 17 incident where shots were fired from 2 vehicles. Adams isn’t facing any charges for that shooting, but there is an open warrant for him out of Volusia County for driving with a suspended license and fleeing and eluding. There’s also another warrant for burglary and grand theft.

According to DBPD, Adams is a gang member and a career criminal.
