Daytona Beach, FL - Daytona Beach police (DBPD) are investigating a shooting that damaged a motorist's car and occurred near the Seabreeze Bridge in Daytona Beach.
Police say the shooting occurred just after 7 AM on Wednesday near the bridge, along Halifax Ave. Lyda Longa, Public Information Officer for DBPD, explains that it was initially reported that two men were shooting at each other, but officials never found anyone who was injured by the bullets.
One motorist's vehicle, a red Ford Escape, was struck during the shooting, but the motorist was not hit. Police are still searching for leads and trying to find any potential suspects involved in the shooting. More information will be released as it becomes available.
