DBIA To Hold Customer Appreciation Day

Daytona Beach, FL - The Daytona Beach International Airport is hosting it's third annual Community Appreciation Day on Saturday(April 27) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. DBIA Director of Business Development Jay Cassens that it's a way to thank the community for its support and patronage. He also hopes that people that have not used DBIA will come out and see what they have to offer.

Cassens will give an airport update around noon to let the public know about the upcoming renovations and the new non-stop service to LaGuardia that begins next week. He went on, "This has proven to be a great event that allows us to thank our local customers for choosing Daytona Beach International Airport as their hometown airport. With the recent addition of new carriers and destinations, this is also the perfect opportunity to remind flyers of the many services and amenities available at DBIA."

Cassens said the event takes place on the second level near the checkpoint and restaurant. A prize wheel will be available so visitors can try to win a variety of prizes, including free parking at the airport, tickets to a Daytona Tortugas game and more.  Shelldon, the official mascot of the Daytona Tortugas, will greet guests.  There is no free parking but if you, he said that you can get your parking ticket validated so there's no cost to you.
