Daytona Beach, FL - Detectives release the identity of the man they say shot into a car in broad daylight in the parking lot of a small market nearly a week ago, wounding the driver inside.

The Daytona Beach Police Department is still searching for 26-year-old Ronald Denson for his role in the August 8th incident at Bethune Village Market on Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, around 4 blocks southwest of the Bethune-Cookman University campus.

DBPD also released security video which captured the shooting in real time. It's posted below.

The victim - a 25-year-old man - needed surgery soon after the shooting at Halifax Health Medical Center, receiving wounds to his left arm and stomach.

Volusia County Jail records show Denson has been booked there at least seven times since July 2008, including most recently this past 4th of July for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, trying to sell or possess a gun with its serial number altered or removed and possession of heroin, cocaine and cannabis. Police also filed two intent to sell charges related to the cocaine and cannabis.
